At well under 18 lbs, the Lightning SE is a bike that
changes the steel fixed gear game. At 17.5 lb, the
is the lightest production steel framed fixed gear
available. It's the perfect combination of
characteristics- light and fast but with that great ride of
super light steel. And it's equipped with a superb
component group, including a super light wheel set
For more details on the Columbus Spirit tubed frame,
All bearings are sealed- a low maintenance
relationship is guaranteed. Just keep air in the tires,
and a little lube on the chain. And ride.
Note that the bike is supplied with a fixed cog only, but
the flip- flop style hubs allow a 2nd cog (freewheel or
fixed) to be installed on the opposite side of the hub.
